Abuse is a general term for the misuse of a person or thing, causing harm to the person or thing, to the abuser, or to someone else. Abuse can be something as simple as damaging a piece of equipment, or as serious as the severe maltreatment of a person. Abuse may be direct, but it is often disguised. Quick Exit

AVH Presents: A Day At The Zoo
Sunday, August 3, 2008; 1PM-4PM. AV Hotline is creating a fun space where families and patrons can learn about the issue of abuse, but do so in a comfortable setting. We aim to educate, empower, and heal, while offering games, refreshments, and entertainment. This will be held at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. Quick Exit
